PIZZA BAR - CONCEPTUAL DESIGN

Brought in by The Cordish Companies to reimagine Pizza Bar, I began with deep research into the cultural roots of pizza in America — from the grit of early 1900s New York pizzerias to the energy of Little Italy’s markets. That research inspired a concept blending third-generation nostalgia with modern edge.

Using space plans, renderings, and narrative-driven design, I crafted an environment where vintage tile, exposed brick, and warm woods preserve heritage while bold details and industrial soul move the story forward. The result was a casual, social space that felt both rooted in history and unapologetically alive.
