The Cordish Companies: Creating Bold Hospitatlity Concepts

Scroll

Blue-sky thinking for nightlife brands.

Cordish brought me in for early-stage hospitality projects where brand storytelling had to lead the design. My role was to merge brand insights with spatial storytelling — exploring how environments could spark culture, not just house it.

Inspired by New York’s earliest pizzerias, I re-envisioned Pizza Bar as a concept that blends nostalgia with contemporary edge. Researching the cultural roots of pizza — from Little Italy’s markets to SoHo’s industrial grit — I translated those stories into spatial design, material palettes, and visual language. The result was a modern social dining experience that honors tradition while inviting today’s guests to gather, connect, and stay awhile.

Pizza Bar: Rooted in heritage, reimagined for modern social energy.

Mosaic Nightclub Expansion: An elevated lounge concept born from intellect and edge.

For Mosaic’s expansion, I created Invictus by Mosaic — a moody, elevated lounge inspired by vintage academia and reimagined for modern nightlife. Using research, narrative strategy, and 3D visualization, I developed a concept that fused intellect and atmosphere, giving guests a sense of discovery and distinction. The project pushed boundaries of nightlife design, turning sophistication into a new kind of social currency.

At their core, these concepts for The Cordish Companies were brand stories told through space — each one designed to move people, not just impress them.

Whether mapping a guest journey or designing the experience itself, every decision was guided by strategy and emotion. That’s where purposeful creative leadership lives: in the balance between vision and human connection.
