When I joined Modern Home Renovation as VP of Brand & Marketing, the challenge was clear: the craftsmanship was exceptional, but the brand expression didn’t reflect the caliber of the work.

Translating Craftsmanship into Story & Client Experience

My mandate was to elevate every touchpoint — from positioning and voice to digital presence and client experience — into a cohesive luxury-level brand system. I refined the brand platform, modernized its visual identity, directed a full website redesign, and art-directed professional photography to capture both the artistry of the projects and the authenticity of the team.

To move beyond transactional promotions, I shifted the marketing approach toward integrated campaigns grounded in emotional resonance. Messaging such as “Refresh. Revive. Relax.” and “Love Where You Live.” helped humanize the brand and create consistency across print, digital, fleet graphics, showroom materials, and video storytelling.

To extend the brand into the physical environment, I partnered with design and leadership teams to elevate the showroom experience. My focus was on aligning narrative, tone, and spatial presentation so that clients immediately felt the craftsmanship, care, and trust behind the work.

I also supported curated showroom events, collaborating with local chefs to design a hospitality-driven guest experience while developing branded invitations, messaging, and visual systems. These activations positioned the showroom as both an inspiration hub and a relationship-building environment, increasing engagement with premium finishes, cabinetry, and appliances.

To expand market reach, I worked with ownership to develop The Retreat Bath Program — a modular offering that helped mainstream clients navigate renovation decisions with clarity and confidence. Presented within the showroom and supported by cohesive marketing collateral, the program improved operational efficiency while broadening the customer base.

The result was a brand that matched the refinement of its craftsmanship — strengthening trust, increasing referrals, and positioning the company for investor acquisition in 2016.
