CROC, MEXICO: Home Building Project

PROBLEM:
In Nuevo León, Mexico, most people live in modern urban areas—but small, isolated communities like Croc remain drastically underserved.
In Croc, many families live without basic necessities like running water, toilets, safe electricity, or structurally sound homes.
The contrast is stark: while 98% of the region has access to utilities, Croc is part of the remaining 2% still struggling for safe and dignified living conditions.
SOLUTION:
Travel to Croc, Mexico as a volunteer leader — joining YouthFront’s mission to build one new home each week during the summer.
Lead a team of 12 youth volunteers, helping them engage directly with the community while learning about compassion, service, and resilience.
Contribute to a long-term initiative that not only builds homes but also restores hope and dignity for families in one of the region’s most vulnerable communities.
RESULT:
Over several years, the YouthFront program built dozens of homes in Croc, Mexico — giving families access to running water, toilets, safe electricity.
